Data Safety & AI Accuracy

The questions that come up on every sales call. Here's the straight answer to each.

Is my client data safe?

Your data is never sent to a third-party AI provider — the AI that drafts your emails and listing copy runs on infrastructure Keyring controls directly, not shipped out to OpenAI, Anthropic, or anyone else. It's not used to train any shared model, and it's not sold or shared with third parties. Keyring does store what it needs to do its job — your client records, listings, and the interaction history it processes — in a database Keyring operates, encrypted where it matters most (like your account credentials). You can disconnect your Google account at any time, and you can request full deletion of your data at any time.

What if the AI gets something wrong?

Nothing Keyring writes ever goes to a client without you reviewing it first. Keyring drafts; you review, edit, and send. For listing copy specifically, Keyring checks every draft against your actual listing data — if a price or square footage in the draft doesn't match what's on file, it flags the draft as unverified instead of guessing. The Fair Housing gate runs on every client-facing draft and flags language that could create liability before you ever see it.

Does it auto-send anything?

No. Ever. Every email, every draft, every piece of client communication goes through you before it goes anywhere. Keyring is an assistant, not an autopilot. That's a product decision, not a limitation — you're always the final word.

What Google services does it need access to?

Gmail (to draft replies to clients, and to read recent activity so drafts have context), Google Drive (to receive audio/document uploads and to hold drafted text messages for you to copy into your phone), and Google Calendar (to read your availability and create events from client interactions). You authorize this through Google's own consent screen and can review or revoke any of it at any time from your Google account settings.

How is this different from just using ChatGPT?

Three ways. First, voice-matching: Keyring drafts in your actual writing style, seeded from real samples of your own past emails and texts — ChatGPT writes in generic AI-speak. Second, data integrity: Keyring checks drafts against your real listing data, so it can't invent a price or square footage that doesn't exist in your records. Third, Fair Housing: Keyring runs a compliance check on every client-facing draft. ChatGPT has no awareness of your listings, your clients, or the Fair Housing Act.

What happens if I cancel?

You disconnect Keyring from your Google account in one click and access ends immediately. You can request full deletion of your account data at any time. Founding customer pricing is locked for as long as you stay subscribed — if you cancel and come back later, you'd rejoin at whatever the current rate is.
